# Getting Started with ClayHog

Welcome to ClayHog! This guide will help you get started with tracking your Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) performance.

## What is ClayHog?

ClayHog is a comprehensive platform for tracking and optimizing your content’s visibility in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

## Quick Start Guide

### 1. Create Your Account

Sign up for a free account at [app.clayhog.com](https://www.app.clayhog.com/). No credit card required to start.

### 2. Add Your Brand

After signing up, you’ll set up your workspace:

- Enter your brand name
- Add your website URL
- Provide a brief description of what you do

This helps ClayHog understand your business and tailor tracking to your needs.

### 3. Discover Your Competitors

ClayHog’s AI will suggest relevant competitors based on your brand and website. Review the suggestions and:

- Select direct competitors you want to track
- Add any additional competitors manually
- Skip this step if you prefer to add competitors later

### 4. Add Your Prompts

Now you’re ready to add prompts. You have two options:

**Let AI Create Them**: ClayHog will generate relevant prompts based on your brand and industry. Simply review and select the ones you want to track.

**Add Manually**: Create your own prompts that are specific to your business:

- “Best [your product category] for [use case]”
- “How to [solve problem your product addresses]”
- “[Your brand] vs [competitor] comparison”

### 5. Monitor Your Dashboard

Check your dashboard regularly to see:

- **Visibility Score**: How often your content is cited
- **Competitor Analysis**: How you compare to competitors
- **Trending Prompts**: Which queries are driving the most visibility
